The Zillertal has an approximate length of 32 kilometers from Strass to Mayrhofen. There are four side valleys, the Zillergrund, the Zemmgrund, the Stilluptal and the Tux Valley. Surrounded by numerous three-thousand-meter peaks and the magnificent mountain scenery, you can enjoy breathtaking views and great excursions.
Dairy Zillertal
In the dairy visitors have the opportunity to see the complete process of cheese production on 6,000 m². There is also a show farm!
Swarovski crystal world
The Swarovski Crystal World is located in Wattens, It is not inside the valley, but it is definitely a fantastic experience. The 7.5 hectare area contains unique art works by artists from all over the world.
Nature ice palace
The ice cave on the glacier in Hintertux is a unique experience for the whole family. A short hike away from 3 to 4 minutes from the mountain station is the entrance to the ice cave. Be curious!
Golfing in the Ziller Valley
For a few years, the Zillertal has an 18-hole golf course on more than 65 hectares with a generous training facility with covered slopes!
